Paola Moreschini was born in Viterbo, Italy, in 1963. She obtained a Law Degree Cum Laude from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ in 1988.
She has been a member of the Rome Bar since 1991 and was admitted to the special bar of the Italian Supreme Court since 2004.
She worked from 1992 to 2002 as legal consultant and thereafter as head for the National Legal Office of Adiconsum (association for the defence of consumers and environment). In addition, she worked as an external consultant in the Consumer Relations Department of ABI (Associazione Bancaria Italiana). In 2004 she founded AGIT, an Italian association of lawyers specialized in consumer law, where she served as president until 2008.
Between 2003 and 2011 she worked as a legal consultant with FARO, an insurance company, in the field of civil liability issues of public authorities and hospitals.
Between 2009 and 2016 she operated as the first off counsel and then associate at the international law firm PMT Pontecorvi Mannaerts & Triboldi.
She received her title of professional mediator in 2008, she has since then been giving training to mediators and she has become official consultant of the training institute for mediators of Regione Lazio's Insitute of Law Studies A.C. Jemolo. Prior to that, she gained significant experience in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and assisted as a volunteer in the project ‘La Porta del Diritto’
Paola Moreschini is a partner of the European project Lepca Lawyers in Europe in Parental Child Abduction and Chair of ICALI International Child Abduction Lawyers Italy.
She is also a Member of the Board of IICL, Italian Institute of Collaborative Law (IICL).
She is one of the founders of PRO.SEGUO, an association founded in 2010 that develops educational projects against the exclusion of indebtedness.
